understanding human decision-making processes in order to design behavioural insight solutions

for positive change. We implement programmes across the Middle East, Africa, Latin America and

Asia, using the latest in behavioural science principles and a rigorous approach to research,

strategy, intervention and campaign design and implementation.

Project Description

Magenta utilizes Power BI as its primary business intelligence and reporting platform to support

operational and strategic decision-making.

While the platform has already been implemented and

is functioning effectively, occasional technical challenges arise that require specialized expertise

to investigate and resolve. These may include data discrepancies, reporting inconsistencies,

performance issues, integration challenges, and other system-related concerns.

To ensure the

continued effectiveness and reliability of the platform, Magenta seeks to engage a qualified

Power BI consultant to provide technical support and advisory services on an as-needed basis.

Purpose of the Role

The purpose of this consultancy is to ensure the continued reliability, accuracy, and optimal

performance of Magenta’s Power BI reporting environment by providing specialized expertise

that supports effective data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Providing on-demand technical support and advisory services for Magenta’s exisRng Power BI

environment.

• InvesRgaRng, diagnosing, and resolving data discrepancies, reporRng inaccuracies, and

dashboard-related issues.MAGENTA FZE

• TroubleshooRng data refresh failures, connecRvity problems, and integraRon challenges affecRng

Power BI reports and datasets.

• Reviewing and opRmizing Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models to improve

performance, reliability, and usability.

• Providing recommendaRons on Power BI best pracRces, governance, and opportuniRes for

system enhancement.

• DocumenRng issues, resoluRons, and recommendaRons, and supporRng knowledge transfer to

relevant Magenta staff.

• Addressing any other Power BI-related technical issues, requirements, or support needs that

may arise during the course of the consultancy.

Requirements

Training /Technical skills

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI is required; candidates must demonstrate hands-on

experience with Power BI, including data modelling, DAX, Power Query, and dashboard

development.

• Demonstrated experience integrating Power BI with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business

Central, including an understanding of Business Central data structures and financial

reporting.

• Full proficiency in Microsoft 365.

Professional Experience

• Demonstrated experience investigating and resolving Power BI data discrepancies or

integration issues with ERP systems.

• Proven ability to translate financial reporting requirements into Power BI solutions for

professional services or consultancy organizations.

Languages

• Full professional proficiency in English (written and spoken) is required.MAGENTA FZE
