Terms and Conditions of The Good Feat
1. Definitions
‘User’ refers to anyone using or visiting The Good Feat platform. ‘Recruiter’ means any individual or entity posting or managing job offers. ‘Consultant/Experts/Candidate’ means any individual creating a profile and/or applying for work or assignments.
2. Scope and Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions of Use and Sale govern the use of The Good Feat and apply to all visitors, registered users, and clients purchasing services through the website.
By accessing and using this website, you fully accept these terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you must not use this website.
3. General Provisions
By creating an account, subscribing or using the platform, all users agree to the present Terms & Conditions and the Privacy Policy. These terms may be updated from time to time; users are notified in advance and continued use implies acceptance.
The Good Feat acts only as a connecting platform and does not guarantee the quality, fulfillment, or outcome of any assignment. Final responsibility rests with the parties involved (recruiters or consultants).
All platform content is protected by intellectual property law. Unauthorized copying or reuse is strictly prohibited.
Important: The Good Feat reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Any changes will be notified, and continued use of the website after modifications constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
PART 1 – GENERAL TERMS OF USE
4. Access to the Website and Services
The Good Feat is a platform connecting consultants and experts in the international aid sector with organizations. Services include access to job opportunities, personalized matchmaking, online training resources, and additional features depending on the membership level.
1. The website is freely accessible, but some features require registration or a paid subscription.
2. Users must create an account using an email address.
3. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their credentials
5. Accounts and Membership
Users can access services as visitors or registered members.
Registering on the platform implies:
1. Creating a professional profile visible to The Good Feat and recruiters from Organizations
2. And accepting to be contacted by recruiters or consultants through the platform
6. User Responsibilities
Users agree to:
1. Provide accurate and up-to-date information
2. Not engage in fraudulent, defamatory, or illegal activities
3. Respect the intellectual property rights of The Good Feat and third parties
Warning: The Good Feat reserves the right to suspend or delete any user account that does not comply with these terms.
7. Responsibilities of The Good Feat
While The Good Feat ensures the availability of the website, it does not guarantee uninterrupted service.
The Good Feat is not responsible for:
1. User-generated content
2. Technical issues beyond its control
3. Transactions or contractual disputes between users and third parties
PART 2 – GENERAL TERMS OF SALE
8. Subscriptions and Renewals
Membership to The Good Feat operates on a subscription model with automatic renewal, applicable to both consultant and recruiter packages.
1. Active consultant accounts are billed quarterly
2. Recruiter packages are billed according to the selected plan (monthly, semi-annually or annually) as detailed on the pricing page
3. Any cancellation must be notified at least 7 days before the renewal date
Price Changes: In case of price increases or substantial modifications to services, users will be notified at least 60 days before changes take effect.
9. Cancellation, Termination, and Refund Policy
Users may cancel their membership at any time by using the “Cancel your subscription” feature available on their account page or by sending an email to connect@test.thegoodfeat.com.
Cancellation Terms:
1. No further charges will be applied after the current billing period
2. No refunds will be issued for ongoing memberships
3. Exceptional refunds may be granted at The Good Feat’s discretion
4. A confirmation email will be sent upon receipt of a cancellation request
Termination by The Good Feat: The Good Feat reserves the right to terminate an account if the user violates these terms. In case of termination for non-compliance, no refund will be issued.
10. Paid Job Posting Services
Organizations may post job offers for a fee, as specified in the “Pricing” section.
1. Job postings will be published within 24 hours
2. Inappropriate job listings will be removed, and a refund issued within 14 days
3. A payment confirmation email will be sent upon successful transaction
Warning: Organizations that repeatedly post misleading or false job offers may be permanently banned.
11. For Recruiters
Recruiters must provide accurate information and maintain compliance with all applicable laws.
Job postings must be honest, legal, and professional—The Good Feat may remove and refund inappropriate listings.
Recruiter packages, billing, subscription renewals, and cancellation rules apply as stated (see Pricing). Cancellations: notify at least 7 days before renewal.
Recruiters may rate consultants at project end; ratings must be fair, transparent, and not discriminatory. Consultants may reply or request moderation/removal if necessary.
Upon account closure, recruiter data will be deleted or anonymized according to GDPR. Use connect@test.thegoodfeat.com for such requests.
12. For Consultants/Candidates
All information on consultant profiles and job applications must be accurate and updated.
Consultants can access, correct, or delete their profile/data any time by request.
Consultants receive ratings and comments from recruiters; they can reply, and request removal or moderation of unfair/discriminatory/abusive reviews.
Account closure leads to deletion/anonymization of data (email connect@test.thegoodfeat.com for action.
13. Evaluations and Comments (applies to all users)
All users may submit feedback, ratings or comments. Contributions must be respectful, accurate, and comply with the platform’s ethical code.
The platform reserves the right to moderate, edit, or delete any comment or review that is abusive, unlawful, or breaches privacy or the code of conduct.
Both reviewers and reviewed parties have the right to request removal, reply, or moderation; requests are handled promptly by The Good Feat team.
14. Data Management and Account closure (applies to all users)
Requests to delete or anonymize personal data may be made at any time via connect@test.thegoodfeat.com and are processed as soon as possible.
15. Selection Criteria for Consultants, Coaches, and Mentors
Consultants, coaches, and mentors listed on our platform are selected based on:
1. Professional experience and qualifications
2. Ethical adherence and proven expertise in their fields
3. Compliance with The Good Feat’s quality standards
16. Deliverables and Responsibilities
The Good Feat serves only as a connecting platform between consultants and organizations.
17. Consultant Ratings and Evaluations
Organizations may rate consultants upon project completion. Consultants agree to:
1. Transparent evaluation criteria
2. Respect for confidentiality
3. Fair and non-discriminatory ratings
4. The right to respond to evaluations
PART 3 – DATA PROTECTION
18. Data Collection and Use
In compliance with GDPR, The Good Feat collects and processes the following personal data:
1. Name, email, and account details
2. Payment data
The purpose of data collection includes:
1. Account management and service personalization
2. Marketing communication (if consented by the user)
3. Compliance with legal obligations
Data is retained only for the necessary period and will be deleted upon user request.
19. User Rights
Users may:
1. Access, correct, or delete their data
2. Object to the processing of their data for commercial purposes
3. Request data portability
4. File a complaint with the CNIL (Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés) if they believe their rights are violated

PART 4 – APPLICABLE LAW AND DISPUTES
22. Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute regarding the validity, interpretation, execution or termination of these terms and conditions, the parties shall first endeavor to resolve the matter amicably, particularly by means of mediation. Mediation may be initiated with a mutually agreed mediator or a recognized mediation service. Submission of a mediation request suspends limitation periods, and all discussions during mediation will remain confidential.
If no amicable solution is found within sixty (60) days after the mediation request, the dispute may be brought before the relevant courts. For consumers, access to consumer mediation is available in compliance with Article L612-1 of the French Consumer Code. Information on the competent mediator is available upon request or at connect@test.thegoodfeat.com.
Should mediation fail or not be initiated within the specified period, the French courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, unless mandatory rules of law provide otherwise.
23. Force Majeure
The Good Feat shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, or failure to perform its obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, such as natural disasters, strikes, governmental action, or major technical failures. In such cases, obligations are suspended for the duration of the impacting event.
24. Service and Pricing Modifications
Prices for job posting and recruitment services may change without notice. The Good Feat reserves the right to modify or discontinue any service at any time without liability
25. Governing Law
These terms are governed by French law.
